A resident of Clinton,Louisiana, Alice began painting several years ago with a group of friends. “I have always been attracted to strong, vibrant colors and love the way the paint feels when it goes on the canvas.To me, that is as much about why I paint as creating a picture.  When I discovered stand oil and the way it made the paint feel and look I finally found a style that felt right for me.  My subject interests range from flowers to large abstract landscapes.”  Alice has attended workshops with Gloria Perkins, Michael Del Priore,and Leonard Wren, Libby Johnson and Robert Johnson.
